What music do you listen to? Medellín has a sound for every soul

Medellín is a city with impressive musical diversity. No matter your favorite genre, there’s always a place waiting for you:

Reggaeton in Provenza:

If urban rhythms are your thing, Provenza is the ideal spot. Here, the music of artists and ambassadors of our city, who have attracted more visitors and shared our culture, like Karol G, Maluma, and J Balvin—plays on every corner, with bars and clubs where the party never ends.

Tango in Manrique

Medellín also has a tango soul. In Manrique, at the “Casa Gardeliana”, homage is paid to Carlos Gardel and the legacy of this genre that found a second home in the city.

Salsa and Latin rhythms in La 70 and Parque del Poblado:

Want to dance all night? La 70 is the temple of salsa, with places where dance steps never stop. In Parque del Poblado, you'll find different spots offering an experience full of flavor and tradition. Also, if you want to learn to dance while enjoying the city's spaces, in places like Parques del Río and the Atanasio Girardot Sports Complex, you'll find dance groups at night where you can share and dance with other visitors and locals.

Rock in La Villa de Aburrá and Las Torres de Bomboná

If you prefer electric guitars and powerful riffs, Medellín also has a strong rock scene. In these venues, local and international bands excite the city with every chord.

Rap and Hip Hop in Aranjuez and San Javier

Music as a tool for social transformation comes alive in these neighborhoods. Here, freestyle battles and rap events reflect the talent and strength of Medellín's urban culture.

Events That Make Medellín Beat

Beyond traditional venues, there are spaces that have built their own identity and become cultural references, laboratories of theatrical innovation where every play is a challenge to the imagination; spaces that have promoted popular theater for decades with productions reflecting social reality; and corners of creativity and artistic training where theater, dance, and music converge in fresh and immersive proposals.
